“ It's difficult to review somewhere like Stack, as it's so multi faceted, but out and out, the venue gets 5 stars, though the food is very hit and miss... The venue - Fantastic layout, an incredible transformation of what was there. We went to the Tuesday night quiz and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Staff were polite and always keeping the place clean and tidy Food - So we tried; Acropolis (8/10 - Absolutely stuffed Lamb Kofta Gyro, but the chips in it were luke warm and soggy) Barbell Burger (4/10 - The burger was nothing more than an over priced McDonald's, but the Korean BBQ Chicken was very good) Oh La La Fries (7/10 - Pulled Brisket and Mac and Cheese Fries were decent but not exactly brimming with toppings) Drink - Bars were very well stocked, not overly priced, and the staff were generally friendly and attentive - particularly at the Yolo Bar upstairs. There is obviously a new trend for these warehouse street food venues, and wherever you seem to go, the general consensus is the food in them is hit and miss, but Stack itself is a great venue, family and dog friendly, with lots going on at any given time ”
“ What a fantastic place. Lots of bars to get a drink with plenty of food places too. There was live music on while we were there, which was great and sounded really good too. The service was a bit slow but it has only just opened so I hope it gets better as they get up to speed. Love the place already though, a great new venue for the city and a must visit to see for yourself! (edit i have been lots of time since my first review and it just keeps getting better, love this place !) ”
“ First visit to stack, middle of the day so it's pretty quiet, but what a great job has been done on this place. Lots of benches, lots of food options (I had acropolis greek food). lots of drink options with several bars. There are a number of massive TVs, so I can see this place being a great venue for sporting events, there is also a large stage for live performers. We will most definitely be back ”
“ Great atmosphere especially when they have a act/band on or live sport, many different food stalls in there too and plenty of seating, these are from oh la la fires and this was the pulled brisket topped fries. Bars upstairs and downstairs and on them sunny days they have a outside bar upstairs with plenty of seating too. Buzzers from each food place to make you away when your order is ready ”
“ Visited the venue and will certainly go back. Loved the venue and the fact that you can take the family. Music maybe a bit loud for older members of the family, but was ok for us. Food is reasonably priced and there is a good offering available. There are bars, food outlets and an enclosed roof terrace upstairs. They also have live entertainment at certain times of the day. ”
“ As one of the 'older' generation (well, if 60 is classed as older'), this venue is brilliant. It caters for all age groups, all music genres. The atmosphere is jumping. Even though myself, and our group of friends are all over 60 we don't feel out of place. At all. There are people of all age groups. We haven't tried the food yet because we usually go into Stack after we've eaten, but it looks delicious. We've had a brilliant time every time we go. I would highly recommend Stack. ”
“ Really great place simply put. Had live music on, free entry lots of bars including an outdoor roof bar. Lots of street food we went for the Greek. Very tasty. Staff was super helpful offering us a high chair for the little one. The security is getting a mention they seem to be there in numbers and I see people being ID’ed which struck me as odd. Inside was full of families have a good time and it was only 13:00-14:00 was like the place was having a personality crisis. Didn’t get it. all in all it gets my thumbs up! ”
“ Stack is really good. The staff were really accommodating of my disability & when I told Ooh La La I had allergies, they gave me vegan mayo in place of the ranch dressing. I'm very grateful to them for doing that. Thank you. I didn't realise that dogs are welcome too, which is pretty cool. ”
